Summary

Reflections is a video conversation with 3 Virgin Islanders who share a very special and pivotal time in their personal history and that of their home island, St. John. In 2021 when this project began, Kenneth Marsh, Gloria Samuel, and Oscar James ranged in age from 80 to 90.
What we learn from their reflections is that the small island of St. John went from a peaceful, pastoral landscape dominated by agricultural production, cattle, goat, sheep herding, and a wealth of seafood to a slowly burgeoning tourist economy and the development of a National Park.
